We’re proud to say that Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar won the recent Agrazing Race competition sponsored by Charleston Culinary Tours. The scavenger hunt race, modeled after the popular Amazing Race TV show, led 14 teams of participants around the Holy City to sample cuisine at many of Charleston’s best restaurants. At each eatery they would get a clue based upon what they were sampling that would lead them to the next location. Each team that visited Amen Street had to try one of our savory Signature Oyster Shooters to get the next clue and we’re pretty sure they were a hit – Amen Street was chosen as best restaurant by the group! New Wine Selections
If you prefer to sip your adult beverages rather than shoot them, we have two new wine selections that are sure to please when paired with some of our favorite Dinner Menu items. Our Ben Arnold Beverage Co representative, Chris Cross, consistently provides us with the wide selection of beer, wine and liquor that appears on our Drink Menu. Having such a wide selection gives us the freedom to create one-of-a-kind cocktails and offer rare wine selections that won’t be found elsewhere. Right now we’re excited to be serving Conundrum, a light Chardonnay that pairs extremely well with the savory, briny flavor found in our oyster dishes. Sweet provides a perfect contrast to salty when you combine our Willamette Valley,Riesling selection with our Fried Seafood Sampler.
