Castillo Perelado Blanc Pescador
This exceptional white wine is the perfect choice for pairing with seafood. After all, it’s right in the name: “Blanc Pescador” translates literally to “white fisherman”! With a name like that, you know this white wine is going to be a real treat with virtually any seafood course on our menu. This wine comes from a vineyard with deep roots in Emporda and Priorat, Spain, and it is one of the top-selling white wines there, especially along the Mediterranean coast.
Its color is pale and bright green, with a subtle yellow tinge. On the nose, it’s aromatic with a subtle hint of fruit. On the palate, the Blanc Pescador is light, clean and always refreshing. At 11.5% ABV, this is a great wine for pairing with dinner without being too heavy.
Amen Street Crab Cakes & Oysters
Of course, it wouldn’t be a food and wine pairing without a great entrée! Crab cakes are without a doubt a Lowcountry classic. We’d be remiss if we were to ever do them wrong. Our take on this traditional dish features a rich sauté of red creamer potatoes, shallots, fenell and bell peppers with sweet onion remoulade.
