Join us this week for special pricing on favorites from our Dinner Menu, and new dishes created by Chef Garrett just for Charleston Restaurant Week! Now through September 18th we’re offering three expertly prepared courses for just $35, and this year we’ve added an optional beer tasting menu to go along with your meal!
First course offerings include plump and salty Pamlico Sound oysters on the half shell, southern deviled eggs prepared using Gullah spices and hot pepper jam, and pickled shrimp seasoned with dill, lemon and fennel and served on crispy toast. For the second course, choose one of three delicious preparations of fresh North Carolina wild caught Cape Fear River catfish: cornmeal dusted, blackened, or beer battered. Dessert options include light and airy key lime pie served with fresh shaved lime and Chantilly cream, and sweet, rich pecan pie served with drizzled caramel.
Add the three-course beer pairing to your meal and enjoy three brews picked specifically by our bar manager to pair perfectly with each of the offerings in all three of our Restaurant Week dinner courses.
Brew #1: Pamlico Pale Ale
This American pale ale is brewed at Carolina Brewery in Pamlico Sound, NC. The light, hoppy flavor and subtle citrus notes of this ale pair well with our lighter first course options, and this brew just so happens to be crafted in the same place we source our delicious Pamilico Oysters, so it’s only natural that they go so well together!
Brew #2: Folly’s Pride
The light, crisp flavor in this American blonde ale is perfect for bringing out the rich flavors of the wild caught catfish in our second course. This particular blonde ale is brewed right here in the lowcountry at Freehouse Brewery on Johns Island!
Brew #3: Golden Monkey
Heavy and spicy, this Belgian triple ale is perfect for sipping with sweet desserts. It’s brewed in Downington, PA, at the Victory Brewing Co.
