What better way to start off the new year than with new seafood dishes at Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar in downtown Charleston SC? Chef Stephen Ollard has created two new dishes that have been the hit of East Bay Street and has given a fresh spin to two longstanding favorite dishes.
Since pictures are worth a thousand words, here is a visual menu…(yup, it’s making us hungry, too!)
Amen Street serves seasonable, sustainable fresh seafood which changes daily. One of our new fresh fish preparations on our menu is Pan Roasted served with jasmine rice, julienne vegetables and fresh green curry.
An instant hit on our starters menu has been our Baked Oysters. Fresh shucked local oysters topped with a mousse of house cured Tasso ham, spinach and parmesan cheese all baked to gooey perfection.
Our seared scallops are given a new tasty local flavor by serving them over local butter beans.
Chef Ollard has spiced up his fish tacos by adding a “baja twist.” Tempura fried local fresh flounder, spicy adoba rub and topped with napa slaw and chipole crema.
